Complaint Review: Chancery Property Partners

Chancery Property Partners Nick Devereaux Avoid Like the Plague, Non tenanted properties, ZERO Investment Potential, Internet

Me and my partner bought three Detroit houses for $140,000 in July 2012. It was being sold to us as a hands-off investment,  I started to become concerned when, five months later, none of the three properties had been tenanted. One property was later tenanted, but I have incurred costs of $4,000 to refurbish another property and the third property is estimated to cost $9,000 to fix. I have $8,000 worth of backdated property tax bills due across all of my properties.

I wish I hadn't trusted them !! and recommend you do not - I am now stuck with properties that have neither been refurbished or tenanted, and which are now incurring ongoing costs.

The report defacing Nic and Chancery properties sounds very far fetched.

I dealt with Nic and his team. They were extremely efficient and professional. I managed to successfully purchase a fully tenanted property within 4weeks. I have already had 2 payments. They even go to the trouble of helping you with US bank accounts and legal team.

I will definitely use Nics service again. There are many scamming property agents around but Chancery is not one of them.

I was introduced to Chancery and Nic Devereaux last year and after a few weeks of emails, telephone calls and meetings, my partner and I purchased 2 x properties from them. 1 x was
in Buffalo, New York State and the other in Detroit, Michigan. What attracted us to Nic and his company was the fact that all properties WERE already fully refurbished and tenanted. We had evidence of this via a government 'Section 8 Inspection Report', images from the developer and confirmation from the management company that a tenant was in place. We even had a copy of the
tenancy report send to us to back this up.

I find it impossible to believe that based on Nic's company's business model that the above statement from 'Bruce' is true. Why would you send $140k to someone if you hadn't had confirmation of the refurbishment or that a tenant was indeed in place? Only a fool would surely. It just isn't plausible and this stinks of a personal attack on Nic and his business.

It is such a shame that good people in good business's receive this sort of libellous feedback and I hope Nic is able to have this rectified promptly and 'Bruce' is sought for libel and damages.

False Allegation from Scammer I Exposed

#4REBUTTAL Owner of company

Fri, January 25, 2013

I am Nic Devereaux, co-owner of Chancery Property Partners.

I recently (Oct/Nov 2012) had an unfortunate run in with 2 x email marketing scammers in Thailand who i exposed to a group on Linkedin and even had them removed for abusive and aggressive actions.

I can only assume this post is an attempt to damage my and my company's reputation from these aforementioned individuals.

Yes, I do sell property across the US, including Detroit, but only sell 100% refurbished and tenanted property.

I did not sell 3 x properties totalling $140k to anyone last year and know for fact that I have no disgruntled clients. That I can say with complete confidence

If 'Bruce' would like to supply some proof of this allegation (i suggest a reservation form with our company details on that every client has to complete, or a copy of any of the email correspondence we would have had, or even better a copy of the title deeds of the properties he purchased and/or the address details) then please do so, although i can guarantee he won't be able to. I have never sold to a 'Bruce' or anyone from Singapore or anywhere in Asia.

If any potential clients are reading this then please speak to me directly and i will happily put you in touch with some of my current and past clients and affiliates.

I will now be pursuing legal action against this and any other individual who are defamatory against me and my business in a libellous way such as this report.

These allegations are 100% untrue and I have nothing to hide and my contact details are below for anyone that wishes to speak / contact me directly.

Very Best Regards

Nic
