Chandler Marriott Chandler Marriott Sphynx Cat Scam Draper Utah Chandler Marriott aka Shaun Morrill Show Blinds Internet
In June, I was texted on my iphone by a person named Chandler Marriott from 619-916-6644. He then called me and claimed he had two sphynx kittens for sale and he was in Draper, Utah. He said his parents met me through a cat show, and that they thought I might be interested in his kittens. He had lots of personal information about me which is scary now that I think about it in retrospect.
He emailed me a contract for the 2 kittens, but the contract had none of the cattery information on it other than the cats names and cfa pedigree numbers. I tried to pay him a deposit with wepay to his Show Blinds Company, but wepay stopped the transaction due to it being against their policy to buy live animals. I thought it was strange that he invoiced me with 'Show Blinds' which is also called 'My New Blinds' http://www.facebook.com/pages/MyNewBlindscom/214326508797.
At this point, I suspected something was very wrong.
I searched his email IP, and it was for an address in Le Mesa, Ca. Also, his phone is a san diego area code. He was never in the locations he told me he was when he called or emailed me. I put his phone number in facebook, and it showed me that his real name is Shaun Morrill with all his information http://www.facebook.com/pages/MyNewBlindscom/214326508797#!/shaun.morrill.

He has been fined for fraud before. He runs several ads for different pets that he scams people with - english bulldogs, yorkies, and sphynx.
He continued to harrass me for about a day threatening that if I did not pay him, he would sue me. He gave me an address to mail a check to: 4351 Rodrigo St San Diego CA 92115. Then, he called and asked me to get him a money gram. I quit responding to him, and he started sending me spam texts from other 619 numbers.
About a week later, a sphynx breeder friend of mine called me. He tried to scam her with the same ad. When she asked for an address to see the kittens in person, he quit responding to her.
Since I was almost scammed by him, I have met no less than 4 people who were scammed by him and are too embarrassed to admit it. Somebody needs to stop him.
