Complaint Review: Chapel Hill Tire & Automotive

 Beware of this business. I brought my vehicle there to have $150 in work completed and they did over $800 in damage. 1. Ripped my lower spoiler on the front bumper 2. Tore off the wheel well and left it hanging down 3. Broke my rear door lock mechanism and just left the door flapping open without saying anything 4. Put a golf ball sized dent in the other rear door The owner said he would fix the door for $300 but I didn't want to have them work on my car again after that. When I noticed the rest of the damage after I got the car home I was basically called a liar. When I went up there the manager and several mexican men from the back room basically surrounded me and told me to "do what I was gonna do". Needless to say they are lucky I didn't do what I could have done but chose to leave instead. I generally do all of my vehicle maintenance myself but decided to take a chance on this new business. Do yourself a favor and keep your vehicles and the vehicles of your friends/family away from there. Not only are they clearly untrained but also confrontational. The owner told me that he has never been in the automotive business before and it clearly shows.
