Complaint Review: Chapman Auto Group/ C.A.G financing

Chapman Auto Group & C.A.G financing Sold a Lemon car and refused to let me speak to management, refused to take car back, and failed to report purchase & payments to credit bureau.

As a single mom I was looking for a good reliable car to get my children around and me to work. I went to Chapman Auto group looking for an automobile. I was approved for financing and the sales lady told me I could only get this one particular and becaue of desperate need I took it. I asked then about trading it in later and she said after a year of payments I could do without a downpayment.

Five minutes after buying it I noticed it had no gas in so I took it to buy some. I then couldn't open the gas tank latch. So I immediately drove it back telling her it was a mistake( I had a bad gut feeling) She had the guys in maintenace open it and disregarded me. I tried to get in contact with management and no one would call me back and I found out more and more about this car.

After two alternators,radiator, two water pumps,a battery and cables,brakes, rotors, just to list a few. I found out the car had been in a serious wreck and was unsafe to drive. All the while I'm paying $10,000 for a $500 car and they refused to help me.

Just after two years later my transmission began to go out along with the starter,turn signal switch,radiator and hoses. I took it into another dealer to trade in for a better car. Low and behold! C.A.G. (chapman auto group) failed to report the car to my credit. which made it even more difficult to buy another car.

I am so angry I don't know what do, I'm at a point right now where I would really like those good points on my credit rating to improve my credit so I can buy a house in the future and possibly refinance my car now at a lower inerest rate. I also feel I should get a large portion of my money back from C.A.G. they cheated me and took advantage of me being a single mom. Evertime I think about it I get sick. I think, what if I got in a wreck in that car with my babies in it and it's frame failed to take the impact and my kids were killed?

Anyways, I hope someone reads this and can help me. It still makes me so very angry everyday.
