I later learned that he is not a licensed broker or investor. He is paid a percentage of the investment dollars he brings in. He will show you very impressive portfolios and legal documents to support everything he is telling you. He does this with amazing conviction and pride. Charles Hill is NOT investing in these schemes. Charlie’s "Charlie” Hill gets a finders fee for bringing in investment money. Charles Hill is very persuasive. He spends most of his time on the phone illuminating the hundreds of millions of dollars in deals he is working on. He once told me that he was making so much money and that returns on my investment would be so large that the &150,000 I lost would be like a small rounding error to recover.
Charles Hill has since been linked to dozens of other victims, some of which have alleged to have lost over $1,000,000! The pattern of promised returns on investment will end with him cutting you off and pushing you out of his life. If you push harder, he will file bankruptcy. Charles Hill’s scams aren’t specific to an industry of his expertise. He has been a paid broker for bogus energy companies, coal and real estate, exprired bogus bonds, International banking schemes, oil and gas and even the cosmetics and salon business. Charles Hill currently resides in Durango, CO, though he originated from Martin, TN. He has family and has resided most of his life in Nashville, TN. I hope and pray that authorities finally bring him to justice and that his many victims, some of whom I introduced him to, are finally vindicated, even if there is no chance of recovering their losses.
