Complaint Review: Charlies Cycle Center

December 2008 - I bought a used motorcycle from Charlies Cycle Center in Limestone, NY from a salesman named "John". Over the phone, he insisted that the bike had never been dropped and that the plastic was like new. I agreed to buy the bike and he told me that he would have the oil changed and a new plug put in. I picked it up after driving several hours to pick it up, and noticed that I had obvious scratches on the side and front fender. Nice. He had no comments. Well I bought it nevertheless because it was a good price, but the final insult was when later I notice that the handlebar was bent and to top it off, they never changed the plug. I just had to check. They were too lazy to change it out. The oil was changed.

I called the sales manager, but he has not returned by call. Hence, I am posting this to warn other potential buyers.

They may have good prices, but BUYER BEWARE... These guys will say anything.
