Complaint Review: charter anderson sc

charter came  sent a contractor to install internet service fot my computer whitch worked fot 6 months  then we had an eletrical storm and the computer took a ligntning strike  we did nothing about it it was an old computer with no surge protection on it .invested in a new system had no problems fo a year  had a lightning  strike the pole across the street and had surge protectors on the line this time charter sent an claims rep who took pitcures and checked the installion  and looked over burnt up equiptment he said it was not grounded corectly by the installer he would send in the claim they will be in touch 10 days goes by they said what  claim when we gave the persons name they said he quit but they found the file they will send to there corp office file hs been lost 6 times scince now they say the local anderson sc office is supost to pay the claim they said they tryed to contact us but could not reach us the claim was setteled and would be reciving a check  for 500.00  now the claim is lost again and they want a written estmate but will not acecpt it at there anderson location it has to be mailed to there corp office  if we call them they hang up or just bounce us around the phone system
