On 01/08/2007 I went online to pay my bill and authoruzed the amount of $84.30. They took this amount out twice. Date and time are the same. I have now spent 2 days going back and forth between Charter Communications and my bank. Charter claims they cannon refund one payment because I paid it online. BULL!!! They even suggested I leave the payment and it would cover next months.

Charter does not care that this will cause other checks to bounce. Fianlly I got my bank to file a request for the money back, but it could take up to 30 days before I get the money back. During the meantime I just struggle and do the best I can. So much for helpful, caring, honest companies left.
