I also had all of my electronics destroyed by Charter. I asked for my service to be discontinued. When the technician came, he knocked the power ground wire off at the pole. Everything fried, including me who was electrocuted in the process. I have since learned that Charter did not have a ground connected. One did existed but they had never connected it. The service representatives have repeatedly admitted that they did it but have said that they were going to get the power company to pay.

Charter even filed a false claim IN MY NAME with the power company. I have tried an attorney and I have an official claim with Broadspire, the insurance company of Charter. They have continued to give the run-around. Mr. Scott Hayes of Broadspire says that the lack of action is due to the independent agent which he assigned to the case but he has taken no action to resolve the matter. My attorney has suggested that I sue and I guess that is the next step. I still have medical bills.
