Charter does not do what they say Fort Worth Texas
I had Charter Cable installed, and was charged $100.00 for install and the first months billing, it looked terrible, I called and they got it working, two days later it looked terrible again, I called and was told it would cost me $38.00 for them to come out, I did not need anyone to come out it was the same problem as the first day a box down the road, the person I talked with was extremely rude, so I got POed and told them to cancel, and they sent someone out that day and he cut the wire, this was fine, I had already called Directtv and they were going to install the next day, so I had Charter for a total of 3 days, and two of them you could not see the picture because of the snow, a little later I received a statement saying I had $49.00 credit, so I called and was told they do not do refunds, so I ask if the credit could be transferred to a friends account, then they decided to do a refund, I was told be email to contact Live Chat on the charter we page Live Chat tols me they couls not help me so I copied and pasted what the email said, and Live Chat changed there mind and filled out the forms, for a refund, at that time I was told I would received the refund check in 6 weeks, well it has been a few months and no redund check, I emailed billing asking when I would get the check and was told to call the local office, well the hell with it Charter is passing the buck again wanting to get the ex-customer to do everything they should be doing, I think that no one at Charter knows what is going on, so I am posting here and have already called the local Chamber, I really do not expect a refund from Charter as promised, I am also thinking about sending a complaint to the local TV news.
