My daughter purchased a 2004 Chevy S10 truck from dealership a 5year- 100,000 warranty came with the truck. 9 months later  the transmission went in it. We contacted the warranty and they asked for oil receipts. We have been going to the same garage for many many years. They faxed over the reciepts they were hand written as it is a mom and pop establishement.

Charter Warranty refused to use them said they were not valid that it stated in our contract it had to be from quicky lub or dealership with a electronic reciept from a computer. Basically called us a liar. The transmission is 1800 which we had to pay since we owe on the loan for it.  The mechanic... actually two of them said the oil change has nothing to do with the transmission going out.

What good is having a warranty if you can't use it. I don't know what to do to get them to pay. Any help or advisement would be appreciated.
