My wife and i were allegedly approved for a $5,000 personal loan for debt consolidation with these jerks!!!!! All we had to do was send a $930.00 colatteral payment to recieve our loan. I sent moneygrammed them the collateral payment, and the following business day they called me back saying that there were problems with the loan!!!! In order to secure it the lender wanted another $930.00 colateral payment!!!!This is totally unacceptable as i had to borrow the first payment!!!!

Now they are giving us the run-around about refunding our collateral money!!!! I checked with the BBB prior to doing this, and they didn't have any reports of any kind filed with the New Jersey BBB!!!! I wish to god that i wouldn't have even gotten involved with them, as now me, my wife, and my kids will lose our home over this!! Thanks alot charterstone financial!!! I can only pray that others learn my my bad fortune!!!

This happened to the business where I work. I have some phone numbers of people you need to contact to report this incident. The more reports they get on this company, the more likely they are to investigate. Please do not be embarrased when calling these people they are very nice. Call the FTC (Federal Trade Commission) 877-382-4357 and then call the Canadian Anti Fraud Center at 888-495-8501. (They are the Canadian FBI). When I spoke with the person in Canada he said that this is a criminal group and they are most likely located in Toronto or Ontario acting as if they are in New Jersey. They are preying on the American people due to our current economic situation.

Please call these numbers above so we can start a trail of complaints and maybe help to shut them down.

You didn't see them in the BBB because the COMPANY DOES NOT EXIST!! These scams change their "name" almost daily, in order to remain untraceable.
You should know better---you don't have to PAY a deposit for a loan!! That's crazy talk.
Sorry, but you can only learn from your mistake--don't wire people that you don't know money!!
