Do not ever finance anything with Chase bank.  I purchased my vehicle in 01/2009. Had no problems with them because I paid on time, until I lost my job in 09/09. I asked them for an extension in 11/09, this is where they started to be rude.  I told them I lost my job, they did not care.  My main issue with this financial institution is when my husband called up in April of 2010 trying to settle our outstanding balance with them.  They said how about you do a check-by-phone for two weeks to catch up the balance. He said yes.  Everything was fine, we were caught up on the car. My husband specifically said, take the money out of our account on these dates, then my wife will resume sending you paper checks. They obviously did not hear that. This cost us forty dollars in bank fees. They tried to take money out of our account on two occassions when they were not authorized to! When I tell them they need to give us the forty dollars, they hang up on me! They have hung up on me four times now when dealing with them.  Now I noticed they have the audacity to charge me another $15 dollars for the return check fee, for money that was removed from my account without my authorization! I hate this bank and cannot wait until I can re-finance my vehicle!!

Do you have any written paperwork from them where it states you and they agreed only those two check by phone transactions were authorized?  Boy, I hope so!  Beyond that, contact the bank and tell them you did not authorize more than two of those types.  Please do this, even if you have no written evidence to indicate this.  It will help if you have the name of the person you talked with and/or the time/date of the call.  Your bank should investigate this and if everything is as you said, your bank should reverse those fees because you clearly did not authorize them!  Of course Chase will probably deny you agreed only on two payments.  If so, do some research and find out the name and address of the higher ups.  Write them and you can point out to them you never used check by phone before...only for these two special occasions.  Please do not give up on this and come back to post an update!

Good luck!
