I did a transfer balance from another credit card to pay it off faster and when I received the card I shredded it immediately because I never planed on using it. I went paperless and always payed online and never really looked at my credit card activity because I never used it.

It's been about a year and I always pay more than my minimum payment and noticed it hasn't come down as much as it should have! I then looked into the activity and noticed the payment protection plan charges of around $17 every month! I called and got the run around and kept telling them I never authorized this plan and they finally said they will remove the plan and refund me for 3 months. I told them I want to be refunded for the whole year, and the lady got rude and said she can't refund me for something I called and signed up for and hung up! I called back and got the same run around and they let me go!

I called back a 3rd time and wrote down the lady's name whom I was speaking with! This time I said I'm demanding a Federal Regulations E form and told her I never called and signed up for this bull and told her I want to hear the phone recording of me calling and asking for this plan. She told me she can't obtain those records at this time!

I went on to tell her that I was contacting the media to do a story about Chase Banks payment protection plan scam and she then said she'll refund me the rest of the money which may take up to 2 billing periods to show up! I will believe that when I actually see proof!
