Chase credit cards! what a scam! I too paid online once, only because my payment was going to be very close to the due date. What a BIG mistake!, once i did i never recieved any more bills in the mail. all my life i have paid all my bills on time and never missed a payment, but because i did that, and never recieved another bill via mail i missed two payments. i talked to a rep and told them what had happened, and accepted some of the blame and paid my bill to get back too good standing. I also told them that i need too recieve my bills through mail so that this would not happen again, and he assured me that he would fix the problem and i would recieve statements through mail. well guess what? happened again two months went by, no bills and again two payments behind. and when i talked to them all i got was '' its your responsibilty'' to check emails, even after i requested my bills to be mailed, they have slapped me with multiple late fees 39.00 x 4, and my intrest rate is now 29%!!!! they accept no responsibilty for not mailing my bills and basically said its all my fault even after i had talked to a rep and cleared this problem up. i am so upset about the whole thing and feel totally scammed with all these 39.00 fees, with a NAME company like chase/jp morgan, and all thier billions, you would think they wouldnt have to rippoff the little guy but maybe this is how they got thier billions...i almost think my only way to fight back is to file bankruptcy and not pay them at all!
