This company is legalized den of thieves who claims that they sent out notices about the changes in terms of service and we NEVER got the notice.

As soon as the 0% trial period ended, instead of leaving it at 8.9% as they promised, they jacked it up to 23.24% because we were late in paying a medical bill which showed up on our credit report even though we have paid the credit card bill on time.

We were TOLD that the medical bills should NOT have any effect on our rating and the delinquent medical bill was the hospital's fault because they screwed up the billing royally meaning they claimed that they mailed the claims to our insurance company who have repeatedly said that they never got them. It took us over nine months to fix the problem.

They never sent us the notice and they told us today when we called that they had a legal right to do that.

Ha! Chase Bank may have a legal right to do so but they SUCK at customers service and I intend to let my family and friends know about this underhanded scam and tell them to steer clear of Chase Bank. I will no longer give them any more of our money and have closed the account down and we're going to get it paid off within three weeks.

I have a Chase Credit Card. I received checks to use along with a marketing letter that they could be used at the low interest rate. I deposited one into my checking account for $400. and they charged me a $150. fee. They call it a fee, otherwise it would be illegel to consider it as interest.

I called them and they have not agreed to resolve. There was no mention of a fee on their letter.

Once again, they have continued to yank us around.

I talked with the customers service and they told me that I had to contact one of the credit reporting agencies to find out why they gave poor rating to our credit history and guess what? The credit reporting agencies have NO idea what the hell we're talking about because our credit is in GOOD STANDING!

I asked them when did Chase Bank ask for a report since the customer's service told us that they got a report on us LAST JULY meaning tow months ago so I checked it out and discovered that the last report that they asked was May 5, 2003.

Once again, they have continued to yank us around. Don't go through Chase Bank because they are so determined to take your hard earned money.

What a ripoff!!!

Medical bill total you won't believe this!

Guess how much the delinquent medical bill is:

$7

The hospital told us that we do NOT owe any money and the account was closed but I still need to follow up on that by contacting the credit bureaus but the fact is this:

Chase raised the interest rate from 8.9% to 24.23% over a lousy $7 medical bill in spite of our impeccible credit history.
