I became disabled and no longer could work. I filed for disability in May 2006. I later contacted Chase credit card services to defer my payments till my diability payments came to fruition. I filed and fullfilled their hardship requirements. Several different collectors have been calling me since that time and demanding payment. It is December 15, 2007 and I still don't have a check for my disability yet. My Chase credit card account has been referred to a collection agency. The harassment has exacerbated my medical disablity and I am at the mercy of the insurance company.
