Got a phone call, one of many, from a telemarketer from my current CC company Chase, said she was giving me information on a payment protector plan. I told here no time to review information, please send me something. She said she would do so and then recorded my name and address - No mention of anything being purchased!

When I received a charge for $98 on my account, I called in to cust. service and they did say right away they would credit the charge. In other words, this was happening a lot. The cust support person then began to defend how they sell the product - I thought initially this was just a "shady" individual but now realize this is how Chase does business! They bombard you w/ telemarketing calls and hope that they can charge you for services and won't notice charges on your bill.
