I am writing to voice frustration over Chase Mastercard and their handling of my aunt's credit card account. I am wondering if anyone out there can give me advice, or a fax # or email to contact Chase Mastercard, on this problem. My 89-year-old aunt is in a hospice in NYC. She has been in the hospital since October. She is unable to take care of herself or speak. We recently visited NY to see her and stayed in her apartment. She has always lived alone, and the rest of her extended family lives in the West. When we stayed in her apartment, her neighbor gave us a stack of upopened mail to look through. The mail included several bills, some of them being her Mastercard bills which show she is being charged a montlhy $39 late fee. Since returning home, we have contacted the company to explain the situation and ask that they waive existing late fees and charge no more late fees until we get things worked out. We were told that since our name was not on the account, we could do nothing about it. Today, I called (India) and asked to speak to a supervisor. After being put on hold for 20 minutes, the line went dead. I would like to fax them or email them to address this issue, but can find no way to contact them (other than calling India). Any suggestions?
