Chase Moving Company in Southfield Michigan will lure you in with a very upbeat and friendly sales rep (Trisha) to get your business. Once you sign on and they load your furniture and belongings on their truck, their scam begins. They arrive late, waste a lot of time and do not move everything you instructed.  After getting to the new location, they demand you settle your bill in cash before they will unload your truck. The final price for my move was inflated by 3 and 1/2 hours, and end up costing $500.00 more than the original quote. Because they have your belongings on their truck, you either pay up oor they wont release your belongings.

Once you pay them, they unload the truck and dump your furniture pretty much anywhere they want. They do not help set up and move items as they advertise they will.  Looking back on it now, I should have called the Police when they wouldn't unload their truck (since I had the original quote). The next step for me will be to take them to small claims court (after I update websites and the Better Business Bureau so other people are made aware of this crooked and scam company). Save yourself a lot of grief and avoid this company at all costs unless you enjoy being lied to and overcharged (double the quote they give you). Do your research (unfortunately I didn't); just Google Chase Moving Company Complaints and you'll see many similar reports by peple who were victim onf these scammers,.
