When I received my credit card bill, I noticed a charge for a payment protector, which is a charge of $0.79 per $100 for some special service. I had received a phone call a few weeks earlier giving me info about it, however I NEVER agreed to sign up for it. I immediately called Chase & was told that the program would be cancelled at no charge since it was still within the first 30 days. They said that I would receive a credit on my account the next month.

On the bill for the next month, I not only had an additional charge for payment protector but there was also no credit. I called Chase again & said that I had cancelled the previous month. They said they had notes that I called to confirm the service & let them know that I was happy with it, far from the truth!! Again, I told them to cancel it & issue me a credit. They said that I would not receive the credit for another 1 to 2 billing cycles. They can put charges on in seconds, but it takes 1 to 2 billing cycles to remove illegitimate charges?? I am so frustrated that I am of course planning on cancelling the card, but I can't do so until the credits are taken care of. They are just trying the keep my money as long as possible. Chase steals money & lies about it!
