Dear Sir or Madam:

We regret the frustration that this situation has caused you.  It is true that we recently adjusted the payout for certain regions.  It was a difficult decision to make and was made with the best interest of our users in mind.  It was never our intent to target specific countries.  Rather, it was done in order to keep the site functioning and to be able to continue paying models.  We had to take action to stop the hemorrhaging from increased amounts of fraud that was coming from particular regions.

After months of incurring heavy chargebacks, fraud claims and related returned check fees and other fees, we investigated and found that certain areas had dramatically higher chargebacks/fraud related claims than others.  Philippines based accounts were at the top of that list, and Chaturbate was faced with the choice of either reducing the payout for Philippines based accounts or blocking individuals in the Philippines from accessing Chaturbate entirely.  In the event that a user found the change objectionable, an email was sent to inform those effected so they could either close or cease using their account.

We are sorry that this decision negatively affected you, but we believed (and still believe) it would be better for the users of our site to be able to maintain Philippines based accounts rather than terminate and block all such accounts.  

Me and my wife both use Chaturbate, and I can say for sure that they do not have underage models on there. To broadcast and make money you do indeed need to fill out a model verification form and provide a scan of your I.D. or D.L along with a picture of you holding your I.D. next to your face before having to to wait for verification from the site. Sure the site has some flaws and gets very frustrating but to my knowledge they haven't been doing anything illegal.

For example. Chaturbate has a bann sytem that is very flawed, but the reason it is flawed is because it is extremely touchy. You can instantly get banned if someone in the chat asks if you're underage and you say you are. Even if Chaturbate knows otherwise. In all actuality. If someone asks if you're of age or not, the terms and conditions you must sign in the model verification form, state you MUST reply and inform the person you are indeed of age.

Now we proved Chaturbate.com are racists. A family member living in Australia,  made an account on Chaturbate. She submitted her Phillipines passport.

No problem to get approved but,, we check the payment rate in her account its  listed at 0.03 cent per token. Not the 5 cent per tokens she should get.

this clearly shows they treat ALL with Phillipines passport in the same RACIST anti asian way. Even if they don't even live there!!

This is ILLEGAL!

Chaturbate is just a lousy website.  The admins on there are really clueless, and YES they do discriminate against models from the Philippines.  If they find a model to be underage then get rid of that model.  But instead you decide to just make the pay lower for pinay models.  That is discrimination in any book you will read.  Due to this I myself and many others will never purchase anything from this site. Not to mention anyone can broadcast there cam on this website with out ever having to submit proof of age.  The site will be shut down soon anyway for having underage girls and boys on it.  Not just underage from the Philippines, but from many other places through out the world. And chaturbate knows they have underage girls and they just DO NOT care.  So if they think it is cool to lower pay from someone just because of where they were born, well think again.  

It could be a great website if they got rid of the present people who run it.   Justin, Cris, Shirly.  Just a bunch of idiots who have no clue on how to run a successful business.  I will be laughing at you when you are shut down!!

Chaturbate is a business. Their purpose is to make money. They do that via the token system that viewers use to pay/tip the models on the site.

I have been to many, and I DO mean many, webcam oriented sites such as Chaturbate, both of the pay and non pay variety. And, unfortunately, yes. There is a LOT of fraudulent activity from models who claim to be from the Phillipines. They'll offer private shows on IM and Skype, and then never follow through once they've gotten your email addresses and screennames, or if they're on a pay site, they'll often try to take the money and run, which creates a lot of bad PR and expense for the company that runs the site.

Again, Chaturbate is a business, a company, and they need to make money, and it's very bad for their business if that sort of thing goes on, even if they ban the models who are engaging in that behavior. So, in order to create a more user friendly experience for MOST of the people who want to use their service, they're trying to make it less lucrative for people from the region where a lot of that behavior comes from, without completely banning them.

It IS unfortunate that the honest models get caught by the situation as well as the scammers, but the situation is not motivated by racism. It is motivated by the company's bottom line, just like everything else they do, including creating and running the site in the first place.
