Complaint Review: Cheap Tickets - Howard Johnson Express Inn

The cheapticket/howard johnson rip-off.

We were going to take my 87 year old mother to San Antonio to see Pastor Haggie. On march 11th made reservations through cheap tickets for howard johnson express inn in san antonio, tx. for april 7 thru april 9, 2006 for two rooms, total charged to credit card $339.32.

My mother fell and we had to move to trip to april 14th thru april 16, 2006. When we couldn't contact cheap tickets to change the reservation, we called the hotel and changed it. Then emailed cheaptickets with a confirmation number.

When it was obvious that mother couldn't make the trip at this time, we called howard johnson's 24 hours before the reservation date and cancelled our reservations, we then emailed cheap tickets. Cheap tickets will not refund any of our money because they say that we used the reservation. Howard johnson's confirmed that we did not use the reservation and that they have not received any money from cheaptickets.

I emailed howard johnson's corporate that we have tried over and over again to get our refund, but to no avail. shame on cheaptickets and shame on howard johnson's for not contacting cheaptickets and helping us out.
