This company should be put out of business! All their websites use the phone number 1-800-600-6333. Avoid any site using that phone number! They are based in India, not California as they claim. And they do not answer their phone or provide the reservations you have paid for.

Here's my story:

I made a reservation for a hotel room through a HotelQuest website called hotels-in-neworleans.com. Later that day I called the hotel, Comfort Suites, to confirm the reservation, and they had no record of it. They stated they were sold out and had been for over a month, and there was no way any new reservation could have been made.

The HotelQuest website states I would receive an e-mail confirmation, which I never received. I called the HotelQuest 1-800-600-6333 number, which is advertised as a 24 hour number. I got a recording to call during business hours, 7:30 to 5 Pacific time. I called the number for two days, and never got an answer. I left messages and never got a return call, until I left a message staing I plan to contact my credit card company, the bad business bureau, and the BBB.

The afternoon of March 12 they called me. I stated I wanted to cancel the reservation, which they questioned. They then said that their "company policy" is not to give refunds, but to give a voucher to be used with my next reservation with them. Their on-line cancellation policy states that "Payments are refundable in full in case of cancellation made 72 hours or more before day of arrival". My reservations were for March 19, so I should be due a full refund, credited back to my credit card. They refused to do this.

I also called the hotel again, and they confirmed that a reservation was never made for me, so HotelQuest is charging me for something that was never purchased.

I have found out that this company has a history of charging people for reservations that never get made, and then keeping their money. BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY!

They operate many websites promising cheap hotel reservations. They all use the same 800 number, 1-800-600-6333. AVOID ANY WEBSITE USING THIS NUMBER! They promise great deals and great service, but no one ever answers the phone, and you get no reservations.

The company is run by a man named Subash Sangan, who is in India. The phone numbers published for them, 925-473-2230, 925-210-8900, 925-677-7283, and 925-609-7498 are California numbers, but they have no offices in California.

Some of the websites they operate are: www.hotels-in-neworleans.com, www.romantic-lasvegas.com, www.adventureorlando.com, www.hotels-in-sanantonio.com, discounts.cheapestdeals.com, www.hqsource.com, www.lasvegashotelreservations.net, www.cincinnati-hotel-guide.com, www.bestcasinodeals.com, www.casinogamblingexposed.com, www.miamitravelinformation.com, and www.neworleanstravelinformation.com, among many others.

STOP! ..before you think about using the Better Business Bureau (BBB)... CLICK HERE to see how other consumers were victimized by the BBB's false or misleading information. Don't be fooled! It has been reported, when there are thousands of complaints and other investigations underway by authorities, the BBB has no choice but to finally give an UNsatisfactory rating to a BBB member business that is paying the BBB big membership fees every year. When a business is reported that is NOT a BBB member, BBB files WILL more likely show an UNsatisfactory rating, then reportedly shake down that company to become a member of the BBB. One positive thing about the BBB is, either way, if a business has an unsatisfactory rating with the BBB, you can be sure, the business is bad. But what about all those BBB member businesses that had complaints filed against them? Consumers never get to hear about them. What about the BBB advertising to the public? Is this a false and misleading perception they are giving about consumer confidence when dealing with a business? Click here to understand more of what consumers and business alike are saying about the BBB. You decide. ..Remember. The BBB membership is not earned, it's paid for!
