I saw this site and decided to use it. To late I saw other reports. They overcharged my credit card by $23.00 and when I called to complain they took the following steps;1) Advised me that the increase was a "fare increase". I pointed out to them that the confirmation e-mail which they sent to me specifically stated that any fare increase of less than $25.00 would be absorbed by them and any increase of more than than amount would require them to notify me of the increase and to authorize the charge.

I also pointed out that the e-mail confirmation gave the amount and stated that I would not be charged more than that amount. When that did not work they went to the next step 2) I can file a refund request but I will need to put you on hold for "quite a while" (yes the guy actually said "quite a while"). When I told them that was fine by me I had nothing else to do he put me on hold for about 5 minutes and then came back on to tell me that their records showed that I had only been charged the stated amount.

This dispite the fact that I was looking at a a charge from my credit card company stating otherwise. He then became belligerent and told me that there was nothing he could do. I then sent an e-mail complaint via the companies web-site and got a response saying that they showed only the charge for the stated amount and that if I wanted to dispute this I would need to send them a copy of my credit card statement AND MY BANK STATEMENT. Why they would need my bank statement, don't know.

I did call both airlines and confirmed my booking with each of them (with some extremely nice and understanding people at both of the airlines)but I can assure you that I will not be using cheapoair again and encourage you to avoid them entirely. Just as a follow-up note. I found that the exact same fare that I was originally quoted on cheapoair.com was actually available on the web site for the airlines.
