CheapoAir.com Total Scam - Stole our money. New York New York
Back at the end of 2019, we booked a flight through Cheapoair, so my nephew in Australia could come visit us in Florida USA.
We paid over $1000 for his return flight, which was due to take place in May 2020.
As we all know, Covid shut down all air travel, so we asked Cheapoair for a full refund, and this is where we got screwed.
On live chat and phone calls, we kept getting told that it would take some time to get the refund, as there were so many refund cases going through their system.
This went on and on for 3 years, and in my latest communication with them, they inform me that they have no control of the airline, and the airlines will not refund the money, only a future flight credit. (The airline no longer flys to the USA, so this is totally useless to us).
We asked Cheapoair to either give us our money back or just give us a credit that we can use with them, but they have refused both of these requests.
So our money is gone, its too late to charge back with the credit card, and we are just another one of the hundreds of people that Cheapoair has screwed.
Stay away from this company. They are a total con. Call centers in India, that hardly speak English.
Worst travel agency ever.

These third party reservation places cater to inexperienced travelers. Making reservations is easy, you CALL THE AIRLINE DIRECTLY! How much would you like to bet your money was refunded to them and they are keeping it? You can do any and all things these third party trash do. Make reservations DIRECTLY. All of these third parties are trash...every last one of them!
