Cheapoair Deliberately offer lower airfare then while purchasing raise price stating lower price no longer available Internet
Used Kayak to vett airfares and Cheapo offered my itinerary for $1300 to 2 days. While still current I clicked through to purchase filling out all of the parameters including submitting credit card info. Repeatedly, the screen indicated I needed to provide a correct credit # which I checked over and over. Tried other credit cards. After 10-15 minutes of wasting time I called their 800 number and explained what had happened to the agent. Told the fare is no longer available and the new fare was $200 more. I was booking a ticket 5 months in advance. Furiously, I accused the agent of representing a company that does bait and switch. Called Aer Lingus directly and booked the exact same itinerary for the original $1300 price.
