On the 18th of October, 2015 I tried to purchase flight tickets
The cost at the first attempt was $1406 .59 or about CAD$1610.00 when converted using the website converter (code 30917236)
However by the time I put my credit card info and tried to proceed the price went up and the transaction got cancelled
A cheapoair agent called me right after asking me if I needed help to find the same flight ticket
I agreed, so he found a tickey at 1713 dollars but did not especify what dollar (code 30932530)
As I had changed the currency to canadian dollars on the website, I was expecting him to tell me the price in Canadian dollars or if he was going to charge me in US dollars, I was expecting it to be the same amount as I was trying to purchase online as the agent had offered me.
So we proceeded with that and I made the purchase giving him my info
October 24th, I checked my credit card statement and there were 2 charges:
- $2000 (for the flight tickets)
- $200 (currency exchange)

Which means, not only the 1700 was in american dollars what makes the flight much more expensive, now I have to pay for the exchange of the currency

If the first purchase had gone through, I would have only paid - $1400 + currency exchange around maybe $150

That means I want AT LEAST $500 back, because that is how much I was willing to pay when the agent offered me!
