CheapOair Company failed to have hotel we booked through them then charged us for cancellation New York NY

My wife and I are planning a trip to New Orleans. We went back and forth online looking at hotels, and flights, with everything that we wanted and needed. After going through 50 or more hotels we found the right hotel and flight. My wife proceeded to book both through CheapOair.com .

The following morning, CheapOair called my wife and Said that the room we booked wasn’t available. They proceeded to try to get us to agree to change hotels to a different one, for an additional $200.00. We looked at the hotel and it wasn’t what we wanted.

After the shear frustration of dealing with CheapOair, We decided to stay with friends instead. We proceeded to cancel the hotel reservation, which their site said was cancellable. They told us there would be a $200.00 charge for cancellation. What a Rip Off!
