Purchased a travel packagage via a live representative (Jen Gandy) from CheapTickets.com. I informed the representative of what I needed in order to accomodate the familiy of four. The representative confirmed that she was booking it.

What I received was not what I booked. When I called in to ask for the changes, the company wanted to charge me. Then when I asked for a refund, they refused.

I also purchased the travel insurance. The representative insured me that if I needed to cancel for any reason, that the travel insurance would take care of all of this. When I called the travel insurance, I was told that I was given the wrong information. I could only cancel for specific reasons and I had to file an actual claim with the insurance company.

CheapTickets is a big scam! Their representatives are not well informed and the customers are left frustrated. The supervisor (Darvin) was no help what-so-ever!

CheapTickets and Orbitz have merged. Do not book with either of them!

Lynn from CheapTickets contacted me and she was AWESOME!  I have to admit, I didn't expect to speak to someone who was so personable.  Lynn really listened to me and resolved my issues.
