Complaint Review: Checker Auto Parts Company

While shopping in Checker one day I noticed they had some used oil containers for transporting your used oil back to them. I asked if they would take my used oil if I bought one of these and was told by sales person that they would . I purchased one and filled it and took it back to the store for recycling, I was informed by another sales person that not only do they not accept used oil they never have accepted it.

I went home and looked up Checker auto on the internet and found there that this store was what they call a BOB store which stands for bring oil back. I e-mailed their corporate office in Phoenix AZ about this and was assurred they would check into my concerns and get back to me. I never heard another word from them but, thrre days after I sent them an e-mail that store was no longer listed as a BOB stor on the internet.

Over the years I have spent a large amount of money with this company and this is just one of many instances that I have endured with them. In this particular store it seems to be quite allright with the managment if the employee are rude,inconsiderate, and incompetant. I no longer do business with them.
