CheckPeople TRUE RIPOFF - Useless Information - Palo Alto California
Check People claims to scour public records and build a comprehensive report on anyone you are doing a background check on. Most of what they give you one can find for free at 411.com.
But what is really frustrating is that the criminal records they produce are not for the specific person you are researching - but for anyone with a similar name. And when you open each of them, the information is practically useless. In most cases you have no idea what state they are from and in some you have no idea what the crime is!
TOTALLY USELESS - not worth $5 - let alone the $22 they charged me.
And you can only cancel by calling there office within certain hours - otherwise you will get charged another $22 each month !
Don't be fooled by all the processing bars and other bells and whistles they produce while they are "building" your report - it is total nonsense.
