Checks Unlimited Opens Complaint Phone Line Solely to Field Callers Re. Their Fraudulent Practices consumer rip-off fraud Denver Colorado
Checks Unlimited advertised checks at a reasonable price with small print that said it was an "introductory offer." I don't even know (or care) who I've ordered checks from in the past, so I didn't even think about the small print. As with the stories of other reports, Checks Unlimted ended up billing me $32 for checks the ad promised would be $13.
When I called, they had a lady who immediately started reading me a canned response: "These are your options, pay the balance by check, credit card, or money order." She told me I could not return the checks because they were "personalized" and the company can't sell them again. She also would not let me talk with a manager.
I will never order checks from Checks Unlimited again. I suggest no one else do so either--they'll find some way to fraudulently rip you off and then later field your phone call with some employee who reads off a BS response from the company.
