Found this place on Craigslist. Paid nearly $2000 for a genuine south-african cheetah that would be delivered to my house via freight mail. Never arrived! they took the cash and ran! they canceled their email account and now i have no way to get my money back.

Wow, this whole report just amazes me. Why anybody would even try to take advantage of a service like this is just beyond my imagination. poor cheetahs, caught in the middle.

I still have not heard back from these scammers. I hope that the information I have shared here prevents some other poor lonely person from being duped into this same thing.

Serves you right!  Why on earth do you think you need a wild, endangered animal as a pet?  Do you think that is going to make special or cooler than anyone else?  And by the way, you were just taken by a very common scam, and I really don't feel sorry for you.

Did you seriously expect that somebody on Craigslist was going to ship you one of the most endagered species of cat for $2000?    Given the laws pertaining to traffic in endangered species, there's virtually no way this could happen even if the seller was legit.

You need to get off the Internet.    There are thousands of scammers out there looking to take your money and unlike this one, their schemes are somewhat plausible.
