Chem-Dry Singapore Ruined my hand knotted silk carpets Singapore
I used Chem-dry Singapore to clean my silk carpets after I moved to my new place. They were only dusty and had no other stains. Chem Dry staff came to my flat and said they could clean my Silk persian carpets. They did not say they were going to use chemicals. I trusted my carpets to them.
They delivered the carpets and opened only one. It looked Ok but after a while the tassles started coming apart and kind of dissolving. We were doing renovations and painting and the other carpet was not opened for a long time. When I opened it, it looked as if it had not been washed and putting it next to the other one it looked the same as i had given them. My carpets are a pair and they should look the same but the second one looked dirty and the tassles had come apart. I was away and did not contact them and when i did they said I had only three days to contact them and the condition of the carpets is not their responsibility. They spoiled my carpets and charged me $140 to do it. They did not offer to refund or do anything about my carpets and I have to pay another comapny to wash them again and re-tassle them. Tassles are silk. This is for those who are looking for carpet cleaners. DO NOT USE CHEM-DRY Singapore. Persian carpets are meant to last for a life time my carpets are sadly ruined.
