CHEN IMPORTS (Brian Toivonen) ripoff Minneapolis Minnesota
I represent a large group of lighting professionals who have ordered theatrical and night club lighting from Chen Imports.com and a Brian Toivonen. His tactic is to get you to send money up front and then tell you that he failed to read the fine print in his contract with the factory in Taiwan and that they are asking for an order of at least 12 lights to make the assembly line worthwhile.
Some people actually sent more money, but I did a search on the internet and found that the company in China has not done business in two years with this crook since he owes them over $20,000 and they do not have my funds NOR did they ask for more money. Then, Mr. Toivonen specializes in sending you lights that he found at a garage sale somewhere that do not work and are not even close to what you ordered. This is if you are lucky enough to get anything for your money.
So many people have complained to the postal fraud inspection unit after seeing his ad in PLSN and then sending money to Chen Imports. We have filed a criminal complaint and authored an article in several lighting publications of buyer beware.

Mr. Rosenberg has a large military "contract"
for lighting in NCO clubs. He contacted us
for 300 lights. We sold him 4 lights just above
cost as samples with the assumption that he
will buy 300.
If he bought lights for retail cost. He would actually owe us money sepcially becuase we threw in free ground and air shipping for this "valued" customer.
I wonder why he didnt site sources. Becuase this
letter is full of LIES. We will be happy to
forward the paper work proving him wrong to
any customer.
Lies:
1 - Our factory is in China, not taiwan. He
KNOWS this as he went around us to make more
money and went right to the factory. We have
proof of this.
2 - We do not owe the factory 20k. More like 2k
and that is becuase Paul ruined our company
in the name of making more money. We have proof
of this too.
3 - I only reqired a minimum order from Paul
becuase he ordered a new product that we
have never imported. We have proof of this.
4 - The most outrageous claim is that we go
to garage sales to get the lights!!! We have
wire transfer receipts, invoices and shipping
records. Paul, you know this is false. Shame
on you!
5 - Most all customers got all or most of
their product. If you didnt, you can blame
mr. rosenberg.
6 - We have not been in business for 2 years.
Our license prooves it.
Things you should know about paul:
1 - He has a cayman island tax haven where we send his tax payer funded military money. We can forward you the email proving this.
2 - He dosent care about the money, he wants "revenge". We can forward you this email too!
3 - 3 collections agencies have turned him down for not having a case. We have proof of this too.
4 - He has made personal attacks aginst us. I can forward a email.
Paul, honor your agreement. Then, we will "refund you". Otherwise, you are paying retail just like the rest of the folks! You are not special.
Also, show sources! We have them. I would love
to see this. Posting s**t like this is a major
legal liability for you.
