I don't know where to start with my terrible experience..........when I called cheney door company the guy that answered the phone was very rude and short with me, and i could barely understand him. It was around 9am and the first thing he told me was "I'm eating lunch so hurry up".  This should of been my first clue to call another company,  but I was kind and gave them the benefit of the doubt, I figured if its 9am and this guy is allready eating lunch he may not be the sharpest crayon in the box. I began expaining what I needed fixed on my garage door, and this is where things got funny. I  couldnt say anything without the man-secretary trying to get all technical and talking over my head. He didn't realize he was speaking with a person that holds an electrical engineering degree. (!!!!) I let him say his thing and puff his chest, (which was totally inaccurate) but only because i HAD to get my garage door fixed because my car was trapped inside, and all the reputable garage door companies in my area were busy. Probably fixing Cheney Door Company mistakes.

THEY SAID THEY WOULD BE OUT TO FIX MY DOOR THAT DAY, BUT IT WAS 3 DAYS LATER WHEN THEY FINALLY SHOWED UP!!!!!! To make a long story short, by that time my garage door was fixed and operating, but Cheney Door still came out! No call, No text, No e-mail.  The technician that came to my house was very courteous and showed me the notes the secretary wrote about me on the service ticket. NOT NICE!! The tech said cheney door has a red, yellow, or green notation on the service ticket to alert the serviceman before he shows up to your house what products to "push" and depending on the secretaries interaction and home address the price to charge!!! I was upset they target potential customers that way. Anyways, the service guy and I drank a couple beers since my door was all ready fixed, and he went onto his next service call. Three weeks later I got a service bill in the mail for $317!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I called to complain and it took me 4.5 hours of phone calls, the owner was very rude, some lady named sherry kept calling me a liar,and I am pursuing court options to resolve this at the current moment.
