Complaint Review: Cherish Plemons Tray Chic Catering Couture Cake StudioArtesan Holdings

This is basically a warning to anyone considering working for or doing business with this company. Tray Chic Catering Company which is owned by Cherish Plemons has practiced various fraudulent activities against former employees and to customers. While employed, 90% of employees experienced bounced checks, checks without proof of required social security and taxes deducted, non payment of wages upon leaving the company and the list goes on. Money is owed to various vendors that are no longer doing business with them. Customers that have paid deposits and could not get return calls on their event and would request deposits back were unable to recoup their money. Several employees had to go through Texas Workforce Comission in order to receive their checks. Some got their money some are pending.
Also while employed for this company promises were made continually that were not kept as far as salaries and comissions- which of course led to the high turnover rate. If I am not mistaken, alcohol has been bought and resold without a license- not 100 % sure on that one..but never saw the license as we were told it was too expensive to get... There are alot more issues that I will add to this, but i think this should suffice for the moment as there is just too much to list. This, by far is the worst company in DFW to work for. When i gave my notice I was screamed at and belittled when i tried to calmly explain my reasons. Who can afford to worry each week if their paycheck was good..??
