Complaint Review: Chesterfield Farms Apartments

I moved in able to ONLY view thier beautiful model and lovely landscape, great pool(s) an excercise room, and a great price of $875 for a 3 bed/2 bath apartment.

We moved in two weeks after my daughter was born on Sept. 8 02'. We got our keys and walked into our building that was in the quiet back of the complex.... We soon found out that our building was littered and looked disgusting! we walked into our home smelling of cat urine and our freshly spray painted counter tops. we made the best of it having a new daughter, but throughout our lease we were constantly and im talking about a every other day thing... had to call about people loitering in the halls causing disturbances, gang related activity, fights vandalizing of the building and our cars, K-9 units doing searches and lots and lots of parties lasting sometimes till the early morning and sometimes on week-days.

Our exterior doors hang there by small pieces of metal allowing skunks to get warm and cozy. ear wigs and hornets found thier way into our house, and made nests in our air conditioning unit, some children in our building took out thier braded hair and left it strewn throughout the first floor..... GROSS......

people parked in the fire lanes for lack of parking and ripped down our only handicap sign. our door knob had been loosened and still to this day has never been fixed correctly.

the management poorly handled these situations and when they did the length of time was ridiculous.

to top it off our fire detectors were dangling and eventually torn down completely and not replaced for quite a few months.... its been so long i dont remember....

what a rip off, what a scam... what a waste of beautiful scenery and 2 great pools......... and the fitness room... was great untill most everything didnt work properly.
