i was in a car accident around early december 2009 the incident happened and boom! out of nowhere in less than ten minutes chicago towing association appears at the scene i have no clue in the world who contacted these guys a small wide hispanic and a tall african american came out the tow truck one went to the person whom had hit me and the other came to me we talked they gave us their info after all this was done they took both of the cars the next day i call to take the vehicle out because i didnt want to pay for any storage fees nobody answered. the next day i went to the area were they had all the cars stored i seen the guys whom had towed my car i talked to them saying i wanted my car out of there i have a place were i can store it myself the small wide guy by the name of "wood" gave me a shocking towing bill for more than 400$!!! and he gave me a choice he said if i took it to a shop he works with he would cut off the 400 and only charge me 150 it was in my interest but i first wanted to see how this shop worked. we go to skokie wood took my damaged car and all and arrived at collision palace were i met "nino" he took me around the shop it seemed pretty legit to me they had some nice cars in there so i felt comfortable and left the car there about a month passed the car was inspected by allstate and what not all i waited for was the "uninsured motorist" check for a little less than five grand since the guy who hit me didnt have insurance.i come home one day and the check is in the mail i immediatly call collision palace to notify them i have my check start working on my car who ever was on the other line told me they needed the check to start working on the car i found that kind of fishy and called my insurance provider they gave collision palace a call and then gave me a call back confirming to do it i go up there give them the check and they told me in about a week and a half it will be ready i give them a call in a week and a half and it wasnt ready he told me until next week this kept going until one day they stopped answering i was real mad i went up there to find out the shop had been closed due to nino owing money i called the green paper the department of revnue had posted and they told me to get in contact with nino or wait until they take over the shop completly so that i can get my car back i had no way to get in contact with him until about a couple days later i decided to call chicago towing association no one answered for days! they finally answered after like four days i been trying to reach them and i asked them if theres any way i can contact nino they said yea i will tell him to call you minutes later nino calls me telling me what happened and that my car will be ready by the weekend i said fine. the weekend comes i call him and no answer so i blow his phone up intil he finaly answered told me he was on the other line told me my car still wasnt ready but it will be on monday monday comes nothing he now said by friday for sure friday comes and nothing!! i got fed up and told him i wanted to see my car the following monday he said no problem when that monday came he told me he couldnt make it to the shop he was in downtown paying dues after that i told him i was going to sue him for being a liar and a thief after that i didnt hear from him again.i told my insurance agent whats been going on and he told me this will take some time it is now may 4 2010 and i still havent gotten my car last week i went up to skokie to find out the landlord of where collision palace has kicked them out and now theyre somewhere in waukegan il its been almost 6 months that i havent even seen my car!!!! they took my car and my check these guys made a fool out of me in every way they could
