If anyone is not aware there is a second Chicken Express store located on Welbourne and Rock Praire Road. I decided to go there tonight for a late night snack since most of my friends were hungry and I assured them that it was a good place to eat.

So we start to get our food, and normally Chicken Express is pretty much the best food ever, in my opinion. Tonight that was not the case. As I open my box to eat my food, I take out a piece of fried okra and start eating it.

As I go for another piece, my girlfriend stops me and tells me to look down on the box. There was literally two blood splattered spots in the box. BLOOD IN THE BOX!!! At first we thought that it was ketchup...NO! It was way too dark and all of my friends with me at the time agreed that it was dried blood!!

Before asking for the manager I walk over and ask them why there is blood in my box. The employees solution was to then take my box and just pour it in another box, not to even re-cook it. I then proceded to the counter of the store and ask for the manager.

A very large man approaches me in a white shirt and asks me what the problem was. I explain to him and show him that there was dried blood in the box which contained my food. He then says to me "Well what do you want me to do about it?" with a sarcastic tone. I am still not raising my voice at this point and I reply "Are you really first of all talking to a customer like that, and second of all you should be trying to fix the situation." I asked for his name, of which he wouldn't give it to me.

I ask for addidtional information about people working above him and he would not tell me this information either. I then ask if they will give me my money back. Instead the manager grabs my box, refuses to give me my money back and then tells me to order more food.

This store is the WORST MANAGED STORE I HAVE EVER BEEN TOO IN MY LIFE! From then on out, the "manager" sheepishly avoids me as he retreated to the back of the establishment for the rest of my stay.

One of the employees came out about five minutes later and tried to tell me that the blood splatter was a marker that had exploded. The color on the box was NO where similar to what color the marker contained.

I will be reporting this establishment to the Brazos County Health Authority tomorrow as well as warning anyone that goes in the store to stay away. This is not only a massive failure on the managements part, but a huge, I guess you would call it, a "biological" hazard on account of the BLOOD in my food.

Please avoid this place at all costs.

You say it was blood, but you don't have any way to prove it. You should have kept the box.

Anyways, there are lots of things that can look like blood, maybe a marker DID explode. You are just assuming that it was blood.

I guess you are an expert on dried blood?

The part that is bad, is the disdain shown by the manager. Whether it was or was not blood, the manager should have taken you seriously and done something about it.

You should go over his head and start making phone calls to their corporate chain about it. I bet something would be done then.
