chihaironline.com Sam Sam FAKE Chi Flatirn, Internet
In June of 2010, I ordered a Chi Flatiron online from www.chihaironline.com (a site that conveniently no longer exists). Thinking (stupidly on my part) that this was merely a discount site providing the product at a lower than retail price, I ordered the flatiron paid $73 and the item was shipped to me, from the Philippines (which was the first red-flag).
Upon receiving the item, it looked legit. I gave it as a gift, which was my intention from the start.
After a few weeks of use, I was told it would randomly shut off mid-use.
I emailed the "support" email address and of course got no response.
