I have been a member of this club for nearly 2 years and I think it's time to cut the strings. I recently ordered some books for my niece and like I always do I sent in the card. Well it's been 5 weeks and still no books even though a visit to the website showed me what I owe. I am unable to track my order and numerous emails go unanswered for days.

This is not the first time this club has jipped me. A few months ago I got a mailer advertising books at half of what they cost retail with free shipping with orders of 26$ or more..so like a fool I ordered my 5 books at a total cost of 26.95$ Well a vistit to the website to check my balance showed I owed more than 97 dollars! I knew that was wrong so I emailed and emailed and they promised to change my balance and when I checked they did not. I sent several emails until finally it read the correct amount. I have sent more emails to customer service and no one has emailed me back. This is not the first time I've had to let them know they overcharged me despite promises of their treasure points and sometimes free shipping.

I am thoroughly frustrated with this joke of a bookclub. I am canceling my membership and a word of advice..order your books from somewhere else at least you get free shipping and sometimes low prices...
