Complaint Review: CHM CAPITAL GROUP LLC.

I received a call from these lovely classy people on my cell phone. Surprisingly, my direct supervisor received the same call. The illegal part is that upon calling these scam artist back and asking for written validation of the debt, the young lady first hung up on me and upon me calling back again, started defaming my person. I asked for the location of these charmers so that I can correspond with them in writing on my third call, and surprisingly I was hung up again on. 

After reviewing the applicable consumer protection laws, this company disclosed information to a third party. This company misrepresented themselves, they stated they were a process server, but upon requesting the document number, court location, court date and time, they were unwilling to provide the needed information. They did not verbally or in writing inform me of their intent using the mini memoranda. 

Their scheme is to call the alleged debtor, indicate that the person is being sued or going to jail, the intent is for the debtor to become scared and disclose their personal entity data and provide a method of payment without any verification of their right to collect on the debt. This is a major scam and I do not want any elderly or uniformed debtors to be hoodwinked out of their money.
