My husband and I have been with Choice Home warranty for approx 2 years and all our experiences have been awful. We built our home Sept 2015 so the home is fairly new. The first request for service on our A/C was a No Show!  We live in Arizona and when your A/C is not working it's urgent.

We have had annual maintenance performed on our A/C unit (as required for Choice Home Warranty). Repairs done by all the tech's sent by Choice Home Warranty have used off brand replacement parts creating additional issues. Our A/C unit's motor finally failed (3yrs old) recently.

We paid $1200 to replace it while submitting documents for reimbursement from Choice Home Warranty. The claim was denied with an explanation that we were required to perform annual maintenance. When we re-submitted the claim with proof of annual maintenance they denied the claim stating the tech told them the unit was dirty? I was present during the conversation the Choice rep had with the tech , he never said that. I now have a written statement from the tech claiming he stated he needed to clean up after the motor stopped due to oil leaking.

Choice Home Warranty stands by their decision to not pay the claim, they are awesome to work with. My husband and I have filed a lawsuit in small claims. Feeling confidant.

After several phone calls the claim has been settled. The issue is resolved!
