I stayed at this lodge through the Military for a standard weekend drill.  The charges for the room we picked up by the state, and I paid a 25 dollar pet deposit out of pocket for my small dog I had with me.

After leaving the hotel I found that my debit card had been charged an additional $100.00 after I left, and upon calling the hotel clerk found that the charges were for a "busted" bathroom door.

Firstly the door when I left was not "busted" I distinctly recall taking a shower right before I left and the door working just fine with no apparent damage. 
 
Secondly I was not contacted and informed of these charges, which I am not sure why they are being applied to my card anyways.

Thirdly, since when does it cost 100 dollars to fix and or replace a door, especially a light weight bathroom door.

The clerk informed me I need to call back after 2pm when the manager comes in, (the manager does not work till 2?) 

Will follow up with the results but such practices need to be known about this establishment.  Especially if the Military is putting troops on a bulk level here.

There was no damage to my room, the staff simply read his documentation wrong.  The 100 dollar charge was for the actual room and charged to the wrong card.  I have been credited accordingly and satisfied.

Employees just need to be a little better trained in dealing with this special situation.
