i use this website www.audiogon.com to buy and sell audio equipment. it started as a place for audiophiles to communicate with each other and now it's become another big business website.

i made a deal with chris huynh of anaheim, ca on july 25th, 2008 for a Vpi Hw-19 Mk4 turntable which i paid $3100. i paid him in about 6 days and sent payment next day through the u.s. postal service. he told me had it packed and ready to go as soon as he received payment and would send a tracking number from dhl when it was sent out. i waited. after the first week, i gave him a call and left a message on his voicemail. i think i talked to him once or twice in the 4 weeks i waited for this turntable. he never answered my calls or emailed me.
i was totally wondering if i was getting ripped off but i did receive the turntable at the end of august. an entire month after we made the deal and i paid him.

it was packed by a monkey more or less and the table was damaged. i took pics of everything as soon as i unpacked it. he didn't send everything he was supposed to. the benz micro cartridge, the 3 et-2 tonearms, the turntable belt and combak feet for the table were missing. about a total of $1500. i contacted him and things weren't going well at this point but we came to an agreement. he said that at first he wasn't going to send the items but he was going to send them now. this was at the end of september and now it's the middle of october and all i've kept hearing from him that he sent it out. that maybe it got lost in the mail. he was going to try to find out from his post office where it might be. all of it lies and i finally believe that he probably never sent this stuff. he's using this "lost in the mail because i sent it" as an excuse to absolve himself of his responsibility of this whole situation.

i tried to resolve this situation through the audiogon dispute resolution system and so far i've received nothing. all the admins have done is censor me and they even admitted that they didn't know if they knew his real name and address. they also admitted that he has multiple ip addresses he uses. i posted a "selling" ad detailing what happened with me and they pulled it. i was trying to inform other audiogon members of this guy and the admin censored that. i was emailed by a couple of members that said they had dealt with chris huynh/ audiotraders before and he tried some stuff with them also.

there was even a negative posted by brian hutch that was changed to a positive after he received his items.
i'm going to have to file a lawsuit against him and inform local law enforcement of his activities. i'm going to do everything possible to stop this guy from ripping off anyone else.

This individual Richard Yeung, Bronx NY 10462, audiogon.com ID: feitow caused nothing but a trouble. He sent me obscene emails telling me to send him naked pictures of my wife, that's very dirty & perverted and then left numerous threatened & vulgar voicemails. He threatened me that he'll teach me a lesson that I'll never forget & calling me every name in the book.

He claimed 2nd package not received. Yes, I sold him a turntable thru Audiogon.com that's where you can buy & sell audio equipments. The turntable was sent which he received, then I sent him the 2nd package that he claimed he never received demand money back. He claimed the packing was bad, I had packed many items in the past and all of them got delivered safely. The item I sent him was insured thru DHL & he never report to DHL for damages. BOTTOM LINE he is a very frustrating individual & I did not rip this guy off.
