I bought a condo in an area I did not know, so I hire this seemingly clean cut nice guy from craigs list, to do numerous home imporvements.
Part of the improvement was to install a microwave vent throught the attic to the roof. Now it's a third floor condo, so I could not see the roof. he said job was finished, so I paid him. I did not want to crawl into the attic that day because my back was killing me. Well lo and behold, the vent was venting into the attic. He left a hole in my roof to let the rain pour in, and never vented the thing outdoors!!
When I asked him to come back to finish...he said yes...but was at his mother's funeral out of state (a lie I am sure). A week later he kept giving me excuses. The 4th time he failed to show... I texted him, and I got a message back, allegedly from his assistant... saying that Chris was hit by a drunk driver, was in ICU with punctured lung, broken bones, etc. Well I called the hospital...no Chris Loiselle admitted there!! This guy is a scumbucket liar and a thief.
The story gets even better. At the same time he started my job, I referred him to a Doctor friend of mine, for a bathroom remodel in the doc's second home. Well Chris (aka thief) started the job...then told Doc that floor was rotted, so he would need 2k more. Then he sent Doc pics of the finished bathroom (Doc lives a long way from this vacation home), and Chris demanded payment in full. Well doc sends him the check before inspecting job.
Doc gave me keys to house so I could check the work (unfortunately, after the fact). The work was only 1/4 done !! The pics were from another bathromm, and this scumbucket was paid in full !! My friend was out $8,000 , and had to hire another guy to demo the mess Chris had made!!
We have pics to back all this up, if anyone is interested. DO NOT GIVE A PENNY TO THIS SCUMBUCKET THIEF Christopher Chris Loiselle, or CJL Builders from Pennsauken (he at first lied about his location too) or his scumbag brother in law Sean. :-(
