Attitude of this mechanic was assumptive and p******. Not consultative. I did not "feel" appreciated as a potential customer. I did not "feel" comfortable, engaged. The interaction was not presented where "trust" was created.
I asked for recommendation regarding brake options, after they had the car inspected. When only one option was presented, verbally for over $775, I said politely, I will be needing to get another estimate.
Response warned against using two other repair entities by name, which I did not ask about nor prompt. Unrequested comment, disparagement for me is not a good sign for trust. Offering why they are proud of what they do, and that their work quality drives their pricing, would be much better to promote professionalism and trust.
I went to another mechanic, where consultation and options were presented, interactively, in a friendly, trustworthy manner.
They actually offered that work did not need to be done immediately, that there was still some 20% life in the more pressing brakes. The price, when considering apples to apples, was about 50% of what the one-option, no-consultation C Brothers presented.
Summary: spotless and clean, yes, but straight forward, consultative with a trust-promoting style? NO.

Christian Brothers Automotive Bedford is now under new ownership. Bobby & Sandy Williams purchased the franchise in January 2015. This complaint occurred under a previous owner and manager. We have new leadership and new technicians on the team. We would encourage any one looking at this report to consider these changes and consider the more recent reviews on our Facebook page and Google page. I believe you will find a whole new atmosphere and new attitude.
