I stumbled across this gem today looking for a local church food pantry.

This site lures desperate, hopeless, poverty stricken people from around the world to place a request for prayer.

Sounds like a great idea hey? ask people through they Internet to pray for your needs.

The site first asks you to write down what your problems/needs are. Then it asks you how important is your requests?

The next asks you how much of a "offering" can you give?

The prayer can not be posted unless you give a minimum of $9-$1,000 or more.

The prayer requests that are posted are mostly comprised of families that are on the verge of homelessness or people who are terminally ill and are terrified of what tomorrow will bring.

This is heart breaking, people in such difficult phases of life and seeing some organization attempting to suck the few pennies these people have left.

The icing on the cake is: you attempt to close out the site, and up pops a slew of other predators. Example 1-800-ambulance chaser and 1-800-bull crap credit counselor rip off.

Here is my free prayer request: Dear God, please shut down these predator scum bags.
